This project brings Kathleen Hanna’s Riot Grrrl Manifesto to life through two posters. Vibrant colors and bold typefaces evoke the rebellious spirit of the punk rock feminist movement Hanna advocated for. The ripping effect not only transmits a sense of anger but also highlights the sarcasm in her writing.
By limiting the color palette to red, blue, and white, it amplifies the bold nature while maintaining visual cohesion. These posters offer an interpretation of the key points of the punk rock feminist movement and seeks to evoke a sense of activation, sparking awareness and inspiring action.
